Emergence came by accident in May 2004 (and in a different form from that you hear today), with a purpose to simply promote the music of it's now executive producer, iZZiE Voodoo. The idea had been suggested by another well acclaimed podcaster (FTM) of the time when podcasting in the UK was very embrionic.

iZZiE was immediately acknowleged as a 'natural' broadcaster with a  rare talent to competently 'gel' a show together with entirely different genres of music - and as the first apparent female podcaster in the UK, she quickly gained interest from other bands, who hailed her 'Queen of Podcasts'.

An offshoot monthly show 'Limelight' was sparked which showcased one band during 30 minutes and which ran for a year with many artists before iZZiE axed it due to time limitations.

Voodoo Quota grew out of all intended proportion, creating a buzz within the music industry and we now work closely with various different management & promotion companies and record labels alike providing fresh new talent  to our huge audiences across the world, predominently in the USA, China, UK, France, Singapore......

New Times, New Involvements

As a  result of her involvement in V.Q.S., iZZiE  has been invited to take part in various connected types of organisations- she joined the Made In The UK team in 2008 where she was the only female co-host among 10 of the UK's best male podcasters, was asked by members to be part of the Association of Music Podcasting, has been approached by many record labels and producers and much more.

Early in 2009, she accepted Cuetracks' offer to become part of their paid reviewing team, a collection of well known  DJs, producers, record label executives and such like, all well revered for their opinions on music. She is proud to work alongside people such as Adam Sieff (Founder of Sony's Jazz section), Rob Ellis ( host of Manchester's Number One Breakfast Show, Galaxy FM) and Emma Scott (Kerrang! Radio) to name but a few.
